End User License Agreement
This License governs your right to install and use the MVO application. It sits alongside the Terms of Service and Privacy policy.
1. Grant of license
Subject to this agreement, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use MVO on Mac computers that you own or control. This license is for use of the software, which is licensed and not sold to you.
2. Ownership
MVO, including its design, code and the record-viewfinder mark, remains the property of its makers and is protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing here transfers ownership of the software to you. The video, GIF and audio files you create with it remain entirely yours.
3. What you may not do
You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app, or remove its branding and present it as your own. Except to the extent the law expressly permits, you may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, or work around its technical limitations.
4. Updates
Updates and new versions are covered by this same license unless they arrive with their own terms. A future paid tier may unlock additional features under separate purchase terms, which will be shown to you before any charge.
5. Apple and third-party components
MVO runs on Apple frameworks such as ScreenCaptureKit, SpeechAnalyzer and the Foundation Models framework, and your use of macOS is also subject to Apple's own software license terms. Any third-party components included in MVO are used under their respective licenses.
6. Termination
This license lasts until terminated. It ends automatically if you breach its terms. On termination you must stop using MVO and remove it from your devices. Files you have already created remain yours to keep.
7. Disclaimer
MVO is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, and the limitation of liability in the Terms of Service applies to this license as well.
